All jewellery manufactured by Southern Star Diamonds is covered against manufacturing defects. These may include:

  • Visible imperfections in metal workmanship
  • Structural flaws present at the time of delivery
  • Loose or uneven stone settings identified upon receipt
  • Defects in craftsmanship affecting durability

Before dispatch, each piece undergoes a detailed quality inspection to ensure it meets our strict standards. However, if your jewellery arrives with any concerns, we request that you contact our Customer Care Team promptly so we can assist you without delay.

In addition to our lifetime warranty, your purchase is protected under applicable consumer protection laws. If a product fails to meet a statutory consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on whether the issue is classified as major or minor under relevant legislation.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing issue, please follow the steps below:

  1. Notify us as soon as possible after discovering the concern.
  2. Provide your proof of purchase along with a detailed description and clear photographs of the issue.
  3. If requested, securely return the item including all original packaging, certificates, and documentation.
  4. Our Quality Assessment Team will carefully evaluate the piece within 5–10 business days of receiving it.

If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, we will complete the necessary repair at no cost to you. Where applicable, reasonable return shipping expenses may be reimbursed.

If the assessment determines that the damage is due to general wear and tear including scratches, dents, bent claws, accidental damage, or improper care a repair quotation will be provided for your approval before any work is undertaken.

Please note that customers are responsible for shipping costs when returning jewellery for warranty evaluation unless otherwise advised.
